HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – For the first time in his career, three-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore will head to Claremont Motorsports Park this Friday night. Bonsignore will compete in the 10th race of 16 on the Whelen Modified Tour schedule – the Clash at Claremont 150 – against some of the top names in Modified racing. Chasing a winning prize of over $11,000, Bonsignore will look to gain crucial experience during practice and qualifying and prepare for battle at one of New England’s toughest tracks. The tricky corners, different on both ends, often produce a different driving style compared to other short tracks in the region. The race is also the final in the Whelen Granite State Short Track Cup. Bonsignore’s No. 51 Ken Massa Motorsports team enters the race trailing the leader by just five points, with a $5,000 championship on the line to the team who scores the most points over the three races. There is also a $2,000 bonus to the team that finishes second, and $1,000 to the third-place finisher. “We’re always excited to visit a new track with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour,” Bonsignore said. “We’re looking forward to the challenge of figuring out the track quickly and contending for not only the win in the race, but the Whelen Granite State Short Track Cup title. Ending the month of July on a high note is important to us.” Claremont’s race day schedule includes one Whelen Modified Tour practice session from 4:30-5:30 p.m., followed by Mayhew Tools qualifying at 6:45 p.m. The drop of the green flag for the Clash at Claremont is scheduled for 8:45 p.m., live on FloRacing.TV for those who can’t make it to the track. All tickets for the event are available in advance at JDVProductions.com and will also be available at the track on race day. HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – The second half of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season begins Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and three-time series champion Justin Bonsignore is ready to roll to the Granite State. Ready to compete in the Whelen Manufactured in America 100 at the Magic Mile, Bonsignore will look for his second career points-paying win at the New Hampshire oval. Through eight races so far during the 2022 season, Bonsignore has two wins and sits inside the top-five in the championship standings. New Hampshire is known for high-speed, drafting, and intense finishes coming to the checkered – and Bonsignore has been involved in many of them. Although he only has one points-paying win, Bonsignore has a victory in the non-points Whelen All-Star Shootout and also has finished inside the top-five in nine of his races. Last year, he led 63 laps and finished second. In his last six New Hampshire races, the Holtsville, New York, three-time Whelen Modified Tour champion has led 281 laps. “We’ve performed well at Loudon over the years,” Bonsignore said. “It’s always been a wild card race during the season because of the pack racing, but having a strong car and staying out of trouble and getting to the last few laps is always the name of the game. Anything can happen in the final couple of laps. Winning at New Hampshire on the same weekend as the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series races is always special. We were able to win on Cup weekend at Richmond Raceway earlier this year and we should have a good shot at doing it again this weekend. This is one of those crown-jewel races for our series.” New Hampshire’s race day action will be split up into two days. Friday will include practice from 3:15-4:30 p.m., followed by Mayhew Tools Pole Qualifying to conclude the day at 6:45 p.m. The Whelen Manufactured in America 100 will take place on Saturday, July 16 at 6 p.m. The day will also include the NASCAR Xfinity Series earlier in the afternoon with the Crayon 200. The Whelen Modified Tour race will air live on FloRacing.TV for those who can’t make it to the track. HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – Fresh off two straight top-two finishes, including a victory at Monadnock Speedway, Justin Bonsignore is set for NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour racing at Wall Stadium Speedway this Saturday night. In the Jersey Shore 150, Bonsignore will look to ride momentum off the win at Monadnock Speedway and a second-place finish at Riverhead Raceway. Bonsignore sits fifth in the Whelen Modified Tour championship standings, 33 points from the top. With two wins in seven races and the Wall Stadium event marking the halfway point of the season, Bonsignore will look to continue his climb up the standings on Saturday night. In his one previous start at Wall in Whelen Modified Tour action, Bonsignore qualified on the Mayhew Tools pole and led 31 laps, but was collected in a crash that ended his night early. “Wall is a tough track, high-banked and you carry a lot of speed through the corners,” Bonsignore said. “I have some experience there in Modifieds outside of the Whelen Modified Tour, so I’m comfortable with the groove. With a few of the Wall Stadium regulars running with us and the competition out there, it’s going to be tough. We’re just looking to go there, control what we can control and come out of there with a strong night.” The Wall Stadium race day schedule will include one practice session from 3:30-4:30 p.m., followed by Mayhew Tools Dominator Pole Qualifying at 6 p.m. The drop of the green flag for the Jersey Shore 150 is slated for 8 p.m., live on FloRacing.TV for those who can’t make it to the track.
